What it does
Your document reviewed. Issues explained. Next steps clear.
The Document Accessibility Assistant takes the mystery out of accessibility by turning confusing technical guidance into a clear, easy-to-follow action plan.
You will upload your document, and the assistant will review it for common accessibility issues that affect readability, structure, and usability. It then generates a plain-language report that shows what needs attention, explains why it matters, and suggests practical next steps you can apply right away.
Instead of overwhelming you with technical jargon, the assistant will give you useful, real-world guidance that helps you make better decisions faster.
What the assistant looks at
- Heading structure and reading order: helping you check whether content is organized in a way assistive technology can follow
- Image alternative text: checking for missing, vague, or unhelpful descriptions
- Colour contrast and readability: helping you spot text that may be difficult to read
- Tables, links, and document clarity: identifying common barriers that affect understanding and navigation
- Accessibility findings in context: explaining issues in plain language so the report is useful, not just technical
